Azerbaijan as a crossroads of science and poetry

Azerbaijan's cultural heritage, synthesizing various sources of ancient Turkish, Greek, Indian, Arab, Chinese and other civilizations, is not only a bridge between Europe and Asia, but also an intersection of various scientific and artistic disciplines. This is evidenced by the works of such ancient Azerbaijani thinkers as Nizami Ganjavi, Imadaddin Nasimi, etc., who combined poetry with philosophy and exact sciences in their writings. For today's narrowly specialized education, the renewal of such an approach would give perspective to the beginning of a new renaissance in the context of a globalized world.
